Welcome to the National Center for Academic & Dissertation Excellence (NCADE)!
NCADE provides support to all students and faculty to improve the quality of academic writing, dissertation and thesis research, post-defense publication as well as faculty research. All general NCADE services are available virtually, in alignment with TCSPP’s guiding principle of providing consistent, high-quality support for all students regardless of their program, location, or modality.
NCADE's mission is to:
- Provide scholarly writing and research support, as well as professional development, to students and faculty.
- Use innovative approaches to provide assistance with writing, methodology, and IRB application preparation.

Dr. Belinda B. McFeeters, Associate Vice President for Academic and Dissertation Excellence
An educator and researcher by trade, Dr. Belinda B. McFeeters' education background spans across diverse disciplines. She earned a BS in Human Environmental Sciences, with a focus on business and community services from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a MS in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T State University, and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Dr. McFeeters has over 20 years of professional experience developing a diverse group of students and professionals. She joined The Chicago School in 2012 as a Dissertation Writing Expert (DWE) in the International Psychology program, a position that extended her years of experience as a Dissertation Writing Professor at North Carolina A&T State University, as well as her experience as an independent Thesis and Dissertation editor. In 2013, Dr. McFeeters accepted the offer to become the AVP for Academic Affairs, and lead the new National Center for Academic & Dissertation Excellence (NCADE).
Dr. McFeeters also has adjunct faculty affiliations with the Center for Creative Leadership, where she supports the Evaluation Center with executive level evaluation. She has authored or co-authored journal articles, book chapters, and books on social identity conflict, leadership education, higher education, and K-12 education, and has been recognized for outstanding service to the ACPA Commission on Evaluation and Assessment, as well as the Chi Sigma Alpha Student Affairs Academic and Professional Honor Society.
